The hotel is conveniently located, just across the hall from the lobby on the first floor, and the newly designed rooms are equipped with modern amenities like a small fridge, toaster, coffee maker, sink, and a TV. The rooms are well-stocked with items to enhance your stay, offering good value for money. However, the service fell short with unfriendly staff, early wake-up calls, lack of cleaning service for three days, and a slow elevator. On the plus side, they do offer laundry services and a happy hour. The location is great, providing a beautiful view of the wetlands and being close to town for dining options. The dining experience was satisfactory with good restaurant food but slightly pricey and not the most flavorful. Overall, the facilities are decent, with some room for improvement in service efficiency.

My stay at the hotel was enjoyable overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. However, the dining options were a bit pricey and lacked flavor. The location was picturesque and relaxing. The facilities were well-equipped, but some areas needed maintenance. I found good value for the money paid during my stay.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchenette. However, there was an issue with the curtain rod collapsing during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient. The room size was not as spacious as expected, especially where the bed was placed.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional. The staff was not only helpful and welcoming but also easy to talk to at every part of the resort. They catered well to all guests, including timeshare owners.
Location
9.0
The hotel is situated just south of Lake Tahoe, offering easy access to various state parks and beautiful hikes. The surroundings are stunning, with morning steams, wildlife sounds, and nearby attractions like the Pink House in Genoa and the Oldest Saloon for people watching.
Dining

The dining experience was good overall, especially at the restaurant. However, the food was a bit expensive and lacked taste, especially at the steak house. I did enjoy the home-made ice-cream during my stay.

6.8/10

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were average in quality and not as comfortable as expected, but the service was welcoming and accommodating. The location offered beautiful views but had some drawbacks. The dining options were decent, and the facilities were satisfactory overall.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were average in quality with uncomfortable furniture covered in pleather. The low wattage LED lights created a sterile environment, and the dark paint scheme required full indoor lighting even in broad daylight. The first-floor location just across the hall from the lobby was convenient but should not be as expensive as the top floor rooms.
Service
9.0
The service was friendly and very accommodating. The staff was nice and welcoming, making me feel at home. They even torched us to go to the tour meeting. The hot springs were a great feature to enjoy.
Location
7.0
The hotel had a beautiful view of the wetlands, which was a plus. However, it was a bit disappointing that mineral water cost $50 per day per person, with low mineral components. The surrounding areas, including the lovely hotel grounds, next to the wetlands, and the outdoor hot spring pools, were enjoyable.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were good at the restaurant, but I found it expensive and not very tasty. It was a bit of a letdown given the high prices.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered laundry services, happy hour, and had a restaurant, cafe, and saloon. The facilities were functional but not exceptional.
